A high-level delegation of the Italian shipping firm Augustea & the Japanese group Mitsui & Co, visited the CPHGC Head office recently. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Zhao Yonggang, CEO, China Power Hub Generation Company Pvt Ltd. The Augustea delegation was led by Mr. Raffaele Zagari, CEO, Augustea and Mr. Maurizio Pavesi, Group CFO of the Company.
A leading and reputable player in the shipping industry, Augustea Group, established in 1955, in Naples, Italy, is a provider of sea transportation services.
During the visit, meetings were held that discussed matters of mutual interest. These included the transshipment vessel that the CPHGC has ordered for its coal jetty, part of the 2×660 MW coal-fired power plant being constructed in Hub Balochistan.
The visit further shed light on the mobilisation as well as the way forward plan with emphasis to continue to meet the deadlines as per the contractual requirement. The transshipment vessal is an important part of the CPHGC Project that will help to manage the import of more than 4 million tons of imported coal needed for the Plant’s optimal performance. The parties mutually agreed the ontime mobilization of the transshipment vessel at site, on site to enhance the fuel supply chain smoothly operated.
