CPHGC Operation & Maintenance Contract Signed

The Operations & Maintenance Contract for the 1320MW China Power Hub Generation Company Pvt. Ltd. was signed in Tianjin, China, on 10 April, 2018.
The O&M contract is spread over three years and comprises of one production preparation year and two operation and maintenance years. The contract was signed between CPHGC and a consortium of companies comprising of China Energy Engineering Group, Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd, CEEC Tianjin (Pakistan), Electric Power Construction (Private) Limited, China Energy Engineering Group Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd.
Mr. Zhao Yonggang, CEO, CPHGC and Mr. Xue Xinchun, Chief Engineer, China Power International Holding Company (CPIH) and representatives of relevant parties of this project attended the signing ceremony.
Mr. Fu Xiujun, Chairman, Tianjin Electric Power Construction Company warmly welcomed the guests and thanked CPIH and CPHGC for selecting TEPC as the O&M contractor. He highlighted the importance of the Project and assured that his company and team will endeavor to accomplish the tasks both EPC and O&M projects.
Mr. Xue Xinchun, on behalf of CPIH, thanked the participating companies for their support and hard work for the success of the Project and expressed satisfaction over the progress achieved. He reminded the august audience that the 2X660 Power Project was the first overseas project that CPIH has invested and managed independently. He expressed the hope that the O&M team would enhance the cooperation and coordination between two parties.
Mr. Zhao Yonggang said that the signing of the contract marked an end of the EPC construction stage and the beginning of the power production of the Project. He highlighted the start of the mutually beneficial cooperation between CPIH/CPHGC and CEEC/TEPC whose rich experience will immensely benefit the Project.
